Child Exploitation Concern

Please be aware that there are current concerns regarding young people receiving approx. £160-£400 per month, cash transfer, to review music albums online. One young person was also paid £1000 to purchase a computer. The website address is www.terrabytestudios.co and looks very professional, the young people have no prior experience, relevant qualifications and it is unclear how the money to pay them is generated.  Due to this and the information known in relation to an adult linked to the website the concerns are that this contact may be part of the grooming process for child sexual exploitation through enabling and encouraging contact and relationships with young people which initially may appear legitimate. Police have been made aware of these concerns.

Please be extra vigilant of these or similar circumstances and report / escalate any immediate safeguarding concerns to any relevant member of staff.
